I will meet with the client—or a family representative if the client is in a rehabilitation facility or hospital—at the home to perform a comprehensive accessibility assessment. This includes evaluating up to:

• 3 rooms

• 1 hallway or stairway

• 1 entryway

During the assessment, I will provide recommendations to improve safety and accessibility, including suggestions for:

• Room layout

• Grab bar placement

• Bathroom equipment

• Lighting improvements

Following the assessment, the client will receive a printed copy of the full report.

Starting at $275.  $25 for each additional room

This service includes everything provided in the standard Home Safety Assessment, plus:

• Precise measurements for the recommended height and placement of grab bars (inside and outside the home)

• Photographs of all identified safety and accessibility concerns

• A detailed report that includes:
  
  • A copy of the Home Safety Assessment

  • All photos documenting problem areas

  • Sample images illustrating suggested modifications

  • Exact locations and measurements for grab bar installation

  • Photos and descriptions of recommended durable medical equipment (DME), along with 1–2 website links for purchase

This enhanced assessment provides a clear, visual guide to help ensure the home is as safe and accessible as possible.

Starting at $350.  $40 for each additional room

This service includes everything in the standard Accessibility Assessment, plus a personalized remodel consultation for one specific room.

• We'll discuss your vision for the space and how it can be adapted for lifelong accessibility

• Detailed measurements will be taken

• A to-scale drawing will be created, showing a potential remodel layout that blends your goals with functional design

• Sample photos will help you visualize the proposed changes

• Design revisions can be made along the way to ensure the final plan meets your needs

The completed drawing can be shared with a contractor during future remodeling discussions to guide the renovation process.

This service includes everything in the standard Accessibility Assessment, plus a design-level consultation if a contractor is already involved.

Using insights from all prior assessments, I will collaborate with your contractor to provide expert recommendations on layout and design—ensuring optimal accessibility and functionality before the final blueprints are completed.

This proactive approach helps integrate accessibility into the foundation of your remodel or new construction project, saving time and ensuring the space meets long-term needs.
